Our students practice the application of established standards, techniques, in food and beverage restaurant operations management. Students will link theory and skills mastered in core courses with an emphasis placed on the development of critical thinking, teambuilding, communication, and creativity of developed unique innovative concepts. As such, it will draw on most of the disciplines studied throughout the students’ academic career. Students participate by researching, designing, marketing, sales, production, and implementing restaurant service and production in varied environments. This includes but is not limited to fine dining, casual table service and on or off-site pop-up events. The results is real world experience in food and beverage. It establishes the necessary knowledge and dispositions for a successful career in the hospitality and food and beverage industry.
